    Project Overview

    3D Aluminium, acting as principle contractor direct for the school and Ridge (Property and Construction Consultants), as the contract administrator, carried out the refurbishment works at Amherst School.

    Replacing relatively new and poorly designed not fit for purpose PVCu window and door frames, 3D designed, fabricated and installed high performance aluminium framing.

    The new Sapa Si (super insulated) windows and STII doors are robust and designed to meet the special requirements of a current education facility.

    The works included 3D employing a specialist asbestos removal contractor, which, to enable the works, also meant removing and reinstating the ceiling in the main hall and installing new LED lighting.
