    Project Overview

    3D Aluminium have carried out the installation of aluminium curtain walling, windows, and doors at BHASVIC in Brighton.

    To comply with the stringent acoustic requirements, 3D Aluminium took advantage of the Technal MX Acoustic curtain walling system, which enabled us to install varying glass thicknesses to the same curtain walling screen dependent on the usage of the classroom. Acoustic joint sleeves were also installed within the curtain walling mullions to provide an additional barrier between floor levels.

    Works to the block have been carried out during the COVID-19 pandemic, to ensure the building was handed over to the client in time for the new term. By introducing a range of new working methods and procedures to comply with government guidelines, 3D was successfully able to deliver this scheme on programme and within budget.
