Project Overview
3D Aluminium were appointed by main contractor Edgar Taylor to carry out the design, supply and installation of Hydro Building Systems aluminium curtain walling, windows and doors.
The Governors of Chenderit School awarded Edgar Taylor with the contract to demolish existing temporary and permanent buildings, and to build a new fit for purpose eight classroom teaching block.
3D Aluminium installed Technal MX52 Curtain Walling, with Dualframe Si casement windows and STII commercial doorsets. As part of the architect’s design intent, 3D Aluminium manufactured the curtain walling system with feature cover cap profiles 100mm deep.
High performing SKN165II solar control glass was installed throughout and glazed ceramic panels were used to conceal internal steelwork and floor levels.
