    Project Overview

    3D Aluminium have recently completed the design, supply and installation of Sapa curtain walling, windows and doors to Glamis Estate in Wapping, London E1.

    The works were part of a refurbishment of the estate by United Living on behalf of East End Homes and included Roof renewals, Window and Curtain Walling replacements to stairwells, Concrete and Brick repairs, Asbestos Removal,  Electrics and Communal Decorations.

    3D Aluminium worked in conjunction with Sapa Building Systems at pre-tender stage to come up with a suitable design and specification for the project architect, Shepheard Epstein Hunter.  Once United Living were appointed, 3D Aluminium were successful in securing a sub-contract order and supplied Sapa Elegance 52 ST curtain walling, Sapa 75 Si Casement Windows and Sapa ST II Doors to meet the project specification.

    Working in areas which serviced occupied premises, careful consideration was needed to programme and protect the working areas.

    The completed works have significantly improved the look and feel of the area as shown in the attached photographs.
