    Project Overview

    3D Aluminium installed replacement aluminium windows and doors at Gomer Junior School, having been awarded the contract to carry out the renewal of Windows and Doors to various properties within Hampshire on behalf of Hampshire County Council.

    The replacement scheme involved the installation of Sapa Crown aluminium windows and Sapa STII commercial aluminium doorsets. 3D utilised escape sash locks to the doorsets to offer a high degree of security externally, with the ability to allow unrestricted exit from the classrooms.

    3D secured this scheme following a mini-competition through the LHC A6 Framework agreement, with further works being carried out to a number of properties with an overall budget value of approximately £1,000,000.

    The LHC is a free to use procurement framework to assist local authorities, social landlords and other public sector bodies make more informed choices about the products and services they need for the construction, refurbishment and maintenance of social housing and public buildings.
