    Project Overview

3D Aluminium carried out the installation of Technal aluminium windows and doors at the Grove Academy in Watford having successfully secured funding through the government Condition Improvement Fund (CIF).

Having initially attended site in 2017, 3D assisted the academy in securing their CIF funding by carrying out a condition survey of the existing single glazed windows and provided a fully broken-down quotation, proposed elevation drawings and programme to support their application.

The existing windows were replaced with high performing Technal Dualframe Si aluminium windows, with double glazed units achieving U-Values significantly below current building regulation requirements.

The Academy’s Chief Operating Office provided the following feedback:

“I would also like to take this opportunity to thank the team that worked on this project for their dedication and professionalism throughout. They were determined to meet the deadlines set and worked above and beyond our expectations to ensure they did. Despite set-backs and delays caused by others they made the job look effortless and I was impressed by the can do attitude displayed to us by Gareth and equally his team. It is rare nowadays to find such commitment in a team and it was duly noted.”
