    Project Overview

3D carry out the installation of replacement aluminium windows and doors to Building 329

3D Aluminium undertook the window and door replacement works at Building 329, situated at the Harwell Innovation Campus, near Didcot in Oxfordshire. Replacement works were over 2 floors and included the removal of various existing metal, timber and uPVC windows over the building.

Utilising the Sapa 75 Si system alongside the Sapa Stormframe II doors to give a thermally high performing, more appealing overall aspect to an older existing structure. 3D Aluminiumalso incorporated Aluprof 30 min fire rated windows and doors to conform with current building regulations and fire exit routes.

Harwell is a leading science, innovation, technology and business campus, located just south of Oxford. It is host to an array of over £1 billion of world leading research infrastructure.

The 710 acre site boasts over 60 years of world-changing innovation, from the foundation of the Atomic Energy Research Establishment in 1946 to the opening of the Diamond Synchrotron in 2007.
