    Project Overview

3D Aluminium was appointed by Buckinghamshire Council to deliver a Link Corridor upgrade programme during the school’s summer holiday closure, ensuring all works were completed before pupils returned in September.

Working to a strict programme, the project involved the removal of the existing covered walkway by 3D Aluminium’s appointed Building Contractor, followed by the installation of a new structural covered walkway. The scheme also included new brickwork, paving, plaster boarding/ new plastered ceiling, drainage and electrical works, together with the installation of new aluminium windows and doors. The old conduit on the existing roof was also rerouted as part of the project.

The new link corridor, connecting the playground to the courtyard, was constructed using Technal’s DUALFRAME 75SI Thermally Broken Window System and STORMFRAME II Thermally Broken Door System, providing a durable, thermally efficient solution that complements the refurbished school environment.

This project is another demonstration of 3D Aluminium’s commitment to delivering high-quality aluminium solutions within demanding timescales. By working closely with the client and coordinating effectively with all trades on site, the project was successfully completed in accordance with Buckinghamshire Council’s programme and operational requirements.
