    Project Overview

3D Aluminium installed replacement aluminium windows and doors at Hurst Community College, having been awarded the contract to carry out the renewal of Windows and Doors to various properties within Hampshire on behalf of Hampshire County Council.

The replacement scheme involved the installation of Sapa Elegance 52ST aluminium curtain walling, Sapa Dualframe 75 aluminium windows and Sapa STII commercial aluminium doorsets.

Hampshire County Council appointed 3D Aluminium as principle contractor for the scheme. In addition to the curtain walling installation, 3D managed the removal of asbestos containing materials in co-ordination with our works.

3D secured this scheme following a mini-competition through the LHC A6 Framework agreement, with further works being carried out to several properties with an overall budget value of approximately £1,000,000.

The LHC is a free to use procurement framework to assist local authorities, social landlords and other public sector bodies make more informed choices about the products and services they need for the construction, refurbishment and maintenance of social housing and public buildings.
