    Project Overview

Using the LHC framework (A6) 3D Aluminium have designed, fabricated and installed high performance replacement windows and doors to Mercers House, Islington, London.

The LHC OJEU compliant framework provides best value aluminium windows and doors with a full supply and installation service for both public sector and commercial properties.

The Mercers Company is almost 700 years old and one of the 110 Livery Companies of the City of London.  The company makes substantial grants to support young people, education, older people, churches and communities.  Mercers House is one of a network of homes managed by charitable trusts associated with the company.

Mercers House provides sheltered accommodation within the setting of a building which incorporates stunning historic features.   Acting as principle contractor, 3D Aluminium were able to design windows which were sympathetic to the building design whilst also providing the thermal performance required to meet the requirements of the modern specification.

Working in occupied rooms, 3D were able to programme the installation to both suit the requirements of and minimise disruption to the building occupants.
