3D Aluminium help transform derelict eyesore into high quality modern office space situated in East Oxford.
Originally built in the 1960’s, Tyndale House is located in the heart of Oxford’s busy Cowley road. This large space has been disused for a number of years with the existing derelict building now being converted into a fully modernised commercial office space comprising of three floors including a rooftop extension.
Working with Mac Group, 3D Aluminium delivered approximately 700m2 of powdercoated aluminium curtain walling and windows as part of the refurbishment. Utilising the Technal MX Curtain Walling, Sapa 75 Si system alongside the Sapa Stormframe II doors, 3D were able to provide a thermally high performing facade with more appealing aesthetics. 3D also incorporated 30 min fire rated doors to the rear external staircase to conform with current building regulations and fire exit routes.
