    Project Overview

    Waters Corporation is a global leader in analytical instruments and software serving the life, materials and food sciences industries for more than 60 years. Founded in the USA in 1958 the multinational company has almost 8,000 employees worldwide with more than 1,000 of these employed across England & Ireland. The company will be bringing a new industry-leading precision engineering centre on Longbridge Business Park, which was the former home of Rover & British Leyland, where over 3 million Minis were built.

    Speller Metcalfe selected 3D Aluminium to carry out the supply & installation of the fenestration at the project. The scheme included two long runs of curtain walling, which included the integration of a brise soleil system provided by others on the main elevation. Several other smaller screens formed the rest of the project including a number of high performing, thermally efficient PAS24 commercial doors.
