    Project Overview

    3D Aluminium have successfully completed the installation of Technal aluminium windows, doors and curtain walling at Windrush Primary School, the first new primary school built in Witney for almost 20 years.

    The project was carried out utilizing Hydro Circal 75R profiles which contains 75% recycled post-consumer scrap aluminium. With its 2.3kg of CO2 per kg of aluminium, Hydro Circal 75R is currently the aluminium alloy with the lowest CO2 emissions available on the market. To put into context primary aluminium used in Europe is 8.6kg of CO2 per kg of aluminium.

    Working closely with Halsall Construction and Stride Treglown architects, 3D supplied and installed a wide range of configurations including striking raked curtain walling screens which required the manufacture of bespoke bracketry for installation.

    The project was manufactured and installed in accordance with Secured by Design requirements as per our SBD accreditation including additional security measures www.securedbydesign.com
