3D Aluminium are pleased to announce that we have been selected, following our successful tender via the LHC Framework agreement, to carry out the replacement of the existing Windows & Doors at the Humanities & Social Sciences (HumSS) Building for Reading University.
3D Aluminium have been appointed to fabricate & install thermally enhanced replacement Aluminium Windows & Doors utilising the Sapa Dualslide Window with Tilt function to enable internal cleaning & to achieve a 1.8W/m²K when coupled with the High Performance Saint Gobain Glass. These are to be installed during a 37-week Programme commencing in Spring 2017.
This scheme is part of the re-invigoration of the HumSS Building due to coincide with next years’ re-naming of the building in honour of Edith Morley, who is believed to be the first woman awarded the title of professor in a British University, following a decision taken by the University Executive Board.
